This is one of the largest gatherings of blacksmiths in the world. With the use of the new building we expanded the exhibit area so please bring an item to display. We are very interested in promoting the art of blacksmithing with the younger generation. Beginning smiths are especially encouraged to display their forged designs.
Displays may be setup Friday evening or Saturday morning and removed Sunday afternoon. (The display area is locked at night, but SOFA assumes no responsibility for displayed items.)
FEATURE EXHIBIT
HANGERS - Coat, Hat, Etc.
OTHER EXHIBITS
A designated section of the exhibit will be for the unusual or extremely well-made "neat old stuff" that was made by or for a blacksmith. Bring your "What is it, and how was it used?" items for display and/or analysis.
AWARDS
Cash prizes will be given for outstanding items in the exhibition.
Judging will be Saturday afternoon and awards presented Sunday at 8:45 AM prior to demonstrations.
